The Union County Museum, hosts a variety of exhibits. The museum has displays on Kirkpatrick Pottery of Anna, Illinois, Native American artifacts, farming and railroad history, barrel making, vintage tools, Civil War, and local history. The museum usually sponsors several revolving exhibits each year. Past exhibits have been on political memorabilia, Union County school history, World War I and II, vintage hats and handkerchiefs, sheet music, and local history. Check this website for information on the most current revolving exhibit.

Special openings and tours can be arranged (the museum can handle small groups of up to around 20-30 adults). School groups are also welcomed but recommended age for children is ten and up. The museum closes for the winter in mid-December, January, and February (but special opening arrangements can be made). We re-open the first Saturday in March. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted.
